Rev. Dr. Elmore Leske, passed away on January 25, 2025. Elmore’s journey, deeply interwoven with the history of Concordia College and the Lutheran Church, is a testament to a life lived in faithful service to God and others.
At just 31 years old, Elmore was appointed Headmaster of Concordia College. During his eight years of leadership, he introduced significant advancements, including curriculum updates, improved facilities, and expanded transport services, while fostering enrolment growth. Elmore’s contributions extended far beyond Concordia. As we give thanks for Elmore’s life, we are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:21: “Well done, good and faithful servant!” Elmore’s life exemplified the love of Christ in action, whether through his leadership, teaching, or the relationships he developed.
