Exploring Sustainability and Work-Life Balance at the Earthship Willunga

On Wednesday, March 20th, the Women in LESNW Southern Forum had the privilege of visiting the Earthship Willunga, an innovative sustainable living space overlooking the beautiful Willunga Basin.

The forum attendees were warmly welcomed by Emily Frahn, a passionate teacher at Encounter and the owner of the Earthship Willunga. Emily graciously shared her journey with Earthships, graciously shared insights into sustainable living practices, and advocated for achieving work-life balance, sparking meaningful conversation among everyone present.

The Earthship Willunga was recently featured in Fleurieu Living Magazine, Autumn 2024. This unique space offers an immersive experience in sustainable living and is available for booking through Airbnb here.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Emily for hosting us. The afternoon serves as a reminder of the power of individuals to make meaningful contributions to both their communities and the planet. We look forward to exploring work life balance through future Women in LESNW events.
