Professional Learning in Alice Springs, NT

What a privilege it was to learn together with all staff of Yirara College and staff from Living Waters, new to Growing Deep, to explore and grow leadership capabilities using compassionate systems tools and practices.  

Staff practiced grounding, journalling and deep listening as well as explored the concept of Compassion. They identified ways of suspending judgement using the Ladder of Inference. A stock and flow tool was used by each staff member to identify what increases and depletes their personal ‘stock’ in relation to wellbeing or a capability which emerged for them through the workshop.  

Their desire to listen, connect and reflect deeply was evident throughout the entire day.
