National Reconciliation Week 2024 | Living Waters Lutheran College

Living Waters Lutheran College welcomed a group of Year 9 Aboriginal students, joining us from regional Australia. They were in Perth for a Careers Camp. Their family homes (and communities) are in the remote areas of WA, NT and QLD.

Our students provided a recreational basketball game, followed by a sausage sizzle. As a note of interest, not many know that our school here in Warnbro was named after a remote Lutheran school in Alice Springs.

The visit was an opportunity for us to reflect God’s love. The energy, humility, courtesy and buoyancy of our visitors was appreciatively enjoyed by both staff and students.

A special highlight of the visit was Amaia Greaves-Colbung’s heartfelt Welcome to Country for our guests.
