National Reconciliation Week 2024 | Good Shepherd Lutheran School Angaston
This week our school community came together for a special Reconciliation Week assembly. During this time together, students learnt about Aboriginal storylines, listened to indigenous music and considered what reconciliation means. To help our school take action, our Foundation students presented each class with an indigenous plant which they bought from the Barossa Bush Gardens and shared how aboriginal people have used these plants for a range of important purposes. These will be planted by the students, along with other plants that have been ordered, in our outdoor learning called EDEN.
