Early Years Project
We are excited to announce that LESNW is launching a new project to ensure our early years education services continue to adapt and thrive in response to the evolving landscape of early childhood education and the needs of our community. To support this important effort, we have partnered with Barbara Murray, a specialist in early childhood education, who will be conducting a comprehensive review of our current services and providing strategic recommendations for the future.
Barbara has a longstanding history in the early childhood education sector and has previously worked with some of our early years providers. Barbara’s experience includes serving as the Senior Manager for Early Childhood Workforce Development with the Department of Education and Training in the Northern Territory. Barbara has also been an Educational Consultant for Early Childhood at the Association of Independent Schools in South Australia (AISSA) and later worked as the Early Childhood Consultant for Catholic Education in South Australia (CESA). Since 2020, Barbara has been an independent Educational Consultant, bringing her extensive experience and passion for early childhood education to a range of clients.
As part of this project, Barbara will be visiting sites, conducting surveys within our early years community, and facilitating focus groups to gather insights.
We’re grateful for your support and cooperation in this initiative. If you have any questions or need more information, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at steve.sanders@lesnw.edu.au.
We look forward to working with you and sharing the findings of this important project!
