Better Together: Leadership Lab 1.0 Day 3

Insights shared during our leadership lab recently included the following: 

• I need to dedicate time to listen more deeply to challenges, which are not about me ‘fixing’ or providing my answer to the challenge, but to ‘hear and see’ beyond the words which are shared, helping to person to feel they have been heard and to see the challenge with fresh eyes. 

• How can we engage our teams in these practices to create a more ‘generative social field’? 

• These practices help me to let go of ‘control’ and be more open to what God is revealing to me 

• It is so great to share our stories with colleagues in other learning communities, realising that we are not alone, we share similar challenges and we are better together 

• How might we reimagine the way we organize time to prioritise growing personal and relational awareness? 
• I’m going to use these and tools and practices personally, with my team, and the children.
