Australians Together
Meet Jade.
Jade Brook, proud Adujaha Narungga, Kaurna Custodian with connections to Ngarrindjeri and Barkindji, is one of the Partnership Managers at Australians Together. Jade works with schools throughout South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory to support them in embedding First Nations perspectives across the whole school. If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Jade already, she’s always ready to yarn and would love to hear from you!
Jade’s been helping schools connected to our association, and she’s ready to support (or continue to support) you and your school. Whether it’s by facilitating professional learning workshops, helping build teacher confidence through introducing Australians Together resources or guiding you through your next steps to more meaningful actions.
Australians Together aims to help people gain a deeper respect for First Nations histories, cultures and perspectives, by building a greater awareness and understanding of our shared history, the ongoing impact today and pave the way for meaningful actions for an Australia together.
A big focus for Australians Together is supporting teachers as they impact the learning and perspectives of the next generation. Visit www.australianstogether.org.au, where you’ll find stories, activities, resources and more – produced in collaboration with First Nations advisors and academics, written by teachers for teachers, and aligned with Australian Curriculum, Version 9.0.
Jade would love to yarn about what’s happening in your school. So, reach out and connect with her about ways Australians Together can partner with you as you embed First Nations perspectives. Email jade@australianstogether.org.au, or book a meeting here.
Otherwise, please contact Andrew Bradtke for further information.
