Bec Tayleur named 2026 LESNW Business Manager of the Year

Congratulations to Bec Tayleur, Business Manager at Immanuel Primary School, Novar Gardens, who has been named the 2026 LESNW Business Manager of the Year.

Bec was presented with the award at the Term 4 LESNW Business Manager meeting, held at Epson Australia’s Adelaide showroom.

The annual award, voted by peers, celebrates contributions to the LESNW region in the areas of innovation, system involvement, financial prudence and leadership.

Each year, the LESNW Finance Team seeks the collective wisdom of the Business Manager network to ‘dob in’ someone who best represents the leadership qualities, values and technical skills the network aspires to.

Business Managers are invited to consider who demonstrates strong leadership, develops innovative and system-enhancing solutions, participates actively in initiatives that benefit the wider LESNW community, and is a trusted source of financial, technical and strategic counsel. They are then asked to identify the person who best epitomises these qualities overall.

The Epson Australia-sponsored prize includes an engraved personalised trophy and a $500 voucher to a store of the winner’s choice. The award is open to all Business Managers/Directors and Finance Managers (or equivalent).

Bec joins previous recipients Michael Obst (Unity College), Kerryn Simpfendorfer (Cornerstone College), Tyna Newman (Encounter Lutheran College) and Jayde Sherriff (Redeemer Lutheran School).
