LEA Christian Studies Leaders Workshop

Momentum is building for the new Christian Studies Curriculum! 

More than 20 Early Years, Primary and Secondary Christian Studies Leaders recently gathered for the LEA Christian Studies Leaders Workshop, facilitated by members of the Christian Studies Curriculum Design and Writing Group, which was also held at LEVNT and LEQ. Participants clarified the distinction between Christian Studies and Christian education, explored draft curriculum components, and began developing leadership plans to support implementation within their learning communities. 

Excitement continues to grow, with strong interest already expressed by many learning communities eager to become pilot sites, and the Curriculum Design and Writing Group are greatly encouraged by the enthusiasm, engagement and willingness of communities to contribute to this next stage of development. Selection criteria and the application process for pilot learning communities are currently being developed and finalised, and further information, including application details, will be shared with all learning communities once applications are officially open.
