A Moment for Devotion
Much of our work focuses on growth – growth in learning, capability and responsibility. It is good work, and it matters. But Scripture reminds us that growth is never the starting point. Belonging comes first.
God’s invitation is not to prove our worth, but to live from a place of being known and held.
“I have called you by name; you are mine.”
(Isaiah 43:1)
This assurance reminds us that none of us works in isolation. We are shaped within communities – through relationships, trust and shared responsibility. When people are known and supported, learning deepens and growth becomes possible over time.
As we continue our week, may we remember that we do not work alone – and give thanks for the communities and people who support, shape and walk alongside us.
