A Moment for Devotion
Across our network, we work in places that look and feel very different. Different communities, different roles, different seasons – and different challenges. Yet woven through all this diversity is a shared commitment to care, growth and purpose.
Often, day-to-day work can feel ordinary. It’s made up of routines, conversations, problem-solving and quiet decisions that often go unnoticed. In busy seasons especially, it can be hard to see how all of this fits into a bigger picture.
And yet, Scripture reminds us that meaning is rarely found only in the extraordinary, but is often shaped quietly, through steady care over time.
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
This is a reminder that what we offer each day matters, even when it doesn’t feel dramatic. Sometimes it looks like showing up with patience when the day is full. Sometimes it looks like choosing compassion when it would be easier to rush past. Sometimes it looks like trusting that the care we offer today matters – even when we don’t yet see the outcome.
As part of this wider Lutheran education community, we are shaping stories every day. Through the way we listen, support and work together, we help create spaces where people are known, valued and free to flourish.
May we continue to notice the quiet ways God is at work among us, and trust that even small acts can shape something lasting.
