Governance Workshops
At your request, we will host a second iteration of Intro to Governance workshops and are extending the invitation beyond new board members.
Earlier in the year we hosted Intro to Governance workshops online, targeted specifically towards new board members. The sessions were well attended not only by those new to governance in Lutheran education, but also by several experienced board members. Feedback from new and experienced board members was overwhelmingly positive.
A second iteration of these free workshops has been made available next semester. Details are provided in the above flyer and registrations are now open. In light of feedback received from the first iteration, we explicitly extend this second invitation to:
- new board members;
- existing board members seeking a ‘governance refresher’; and
- those who attend board meetings in an ex-officio capacity (eg, principals and directors).
If you would like multiple board members to attend this workshop, a local (onsite) governance refresher conversation might be a better fit for your context. You’re warmly invited to make contact to discuss your board’s specific needs.
