Governance Workshops
At your request, we are hosting a second iteration of Intro to Governance workshops and have extended the invitation beyond new board members.
Earlier this year we hosted Intro to Governance workshops online, targeted specifically towards those new to board membership in Lutheran learning communities. The sessions were well attended not only by those new to governance, but also by several experienced board members. Feedback from new and experienced board members was overwhelmingly positive.
A second iteration of these workshops is available in August. Details have previously been provided in this flyer and registrations are now open. In response to feedback received from the first iteration, we explicitly extend this invitation to:
- new board members;
- existing board members seeking a ‘governance refresher’; and
- those who attend board meetings in an ex-officio capacity (eg, principals, directors, pastors and business managers).
