Project Update: Marketing & Communications Strategy
Earlier this year, LESNW launched a Marketing & Communications Strategy, co-created with imageseven and endorsed by the Board. Implementation began in May, and since then, the Regional Office has been working with imageseven to steadily lay the groundwork for meaningful, long-term impact.
The strategy focuses on five key areas:
- Drive brand awareness of Lutheran education through centralised campaigns and messaging.
- Promote and facilitate initiatives that generate greater engagement across LESNW.
- Define LESNW’s visual identity and consistently apply this across all marketing activity.
- Clearly articulate and promote the benefits of being a member of Lutheran education.
- Develop and execute a channel and content plan that supports LESNW’s objectives.
What’s been happening so far:
Key Messaging Guide (KMG)- The KMG is a resource that complements the unique messaging of your learning community. It’s a practical tool that supports you, and all staff in your learning community, to articulate Lutheran education and can be used flexibly across a range of contexts—from enrolment tours to publications and everyday conversations.
It has been encouraging to hear how learning communities and hub groups are already using the KMG to enhance messaging across touchpoints. If you haven’t explored it yet, you can access the Key Messaging Guide here.
2026 Calendar – To support your forward planning, key dates for 2026 are available via the Events Calendar on the LESNW website. You can use newly created filters and switch between list or month views to suit your personal preference.
Visual Identity Refresh – A refresh of LESNW’s visual identity is underway so we can confidently promote Lutheran education to the broader community. This refresh will also create opportunities for learning communities to use LESNW branding and/or templates in professional, adaptable ways.
Content and Channel Planning- You will begin to notice new newsletter formats and new ways of receiving updates. These changes are part of a broader effort to reduce duplication, improve clarity, and create a more engaging experience for learning communities. Content planning is underway to ensure messaging is intentional and audience focused.
Compendium of Services- A new resource is being developed for staff in learning communities. The Compendium of Services offers a high-level introduction to the LESNW Regional Office and provides a snapshot of the services available and how to get in contact.
Planning for 2026 Projects- Planning is underway for exciting projects coming up in 2026—including a refreshed LESNW website designed to help generate leads to your website, refreshed portals for easy access to resources, and brand awareness campaigns.
We look forward to sharing ongoing project updates through News4Leaders.
