Christian Studies Curriculum Review Update
The Christian Studies Curriculum Design and Writing Group met in Adelaide in mid-October to finalise the Year 10–12 Christian Studies survey, plan the upcoming Year 11–12 Think Tank Day, and continue progressing the development of the new Christian Studies curriculum.
A significant milestone was reached, with over 140 Inquiry Questions now developed across all strands from Foundation to Year 10, each aligned with the Core Concepts. The Core Concepts and Inquiry Questions have recently undergone review by the Christian Studies Review Team.
Early Years, Primary and Secondary Christian Studies Leaders also engaged with the new Strand descriptors, identifying key concepts and providing valuable feedback. Their insights and ‘on-the-ground’ perspectives continue to be instrumental in shaping a meaningful and relevant curriculum redesign.
