Leading Innovation
Partnering with you to bridge the gap between shared language and intentional, innovative action.
In 2026, my work will continue to focus on supporting our learning communities to deeply embed Free to Flourish — Lutheran Education’s shared vision for learning.
Across the year, I will be partnering with learning communities to strengthen the ways this vision shapes culture, pedagogy, and relationships so that every learner is known, valued, and equipped to thrive.
This focus directly contributes to our LESNW strategic intention of holistic learning that serves others and enhances the world. It nurtures an educational ecosystem where learners and educators work together to create a hope‑filled future.
Through coaching, learning design, collaboration, and facilitating shared professional learning, I will continue to:
- Engage with learning communities to enable learners to be Free to Flourish
I will support learning communities to intentionally embed Free to Flourish attributes within their local contexts, ensuring our shared vision is visible in practice and aligned with each community’s mission and learner needs.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration and co‑creation
A key focus for 2026 will be strengthening collaboration across our learning communities. This includes creating spaces for leaders and educators to learn from one another, share effective practice, and co‑design approaches that uplift learning for all.
- Celebrate and share excellence in learning
I will continue to identify and highlight examples of innovative, transformational learning across LESNW and beyond, amplifying the great work already happening in our learning communities. Sharing stories of growth and impact builds collective efficacy and inspires further innovation.
Through these commitments, my goal is to help ensure our learning communities remain places where every person is empowered to grow, contribute, and flourish, and where our collective work continues to strengthen excellence in learning across the network.
