
Workshop with Lutheran Services (LS) and Schools

Audience: Lutheran Service and school staff with interest in developing and strengthening purposeful partnerships with Lutheran Services such as Australian Lutheran World Service, International Mission, Local Mission, Lutheran Care and Lutheran Aged Care.
This workshop will explore ways Lutheran Schools and Lutheran Services can connect and collaborate, by re-examining past approaches and identifying new partnership opportunities that align with curriculum goals.
Participants will engage with pedagogical frameworks such as Project-Based Learning and Human-Centered Design to explore innovative, student-centred approaches. The session will facilitate discussions on real-world applications, sharing case studies and best practices to inspire meaningful, curriculum-aligned partnerships.
Workshop Goals:
- Provide an opportunity for staff from Lutheran Services to connect with Lutheran Learning Communities.
- Strengthen and develop partnerships between learning communities and Lutheran Services.
- Explore ways to enhance units of work by integrating the expertise and resources of the Lutheran Service network.
- Identify curriculum links with the Australian Curriculum to ensure meaningful, authentic learning experiences for students.
