SUMMARY:LEA Worship and Devotions Project Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Worship and Devotional Life in Lutheran Schools and Early Childhood Services Workshop  \nWho:  This workshop is for people involved in planning and leading worship and the devotional life of learning communities in LESNW. This includes worship coordinators\, chaplains and school pastors. School leaders and staff who are passionate about worship and devotions are also welcome to attend. \nCost: Free. Morning tea and lunch provided. \nRegistrations close 10 May. \nWhy: The Worship and Devotional Life in Lutheran Schools and ECS Project aims to encourage\, support and resource schools and ECSs around the LEA. We want to find out from worship and devotional life leaders what the needs are in our learning communities and how we can best encourage and support them in their work. \nThis workshop will have a practical focus and provide participants with a voice in shaping the development of resources. \nWorkshop structure:  \n\nOpening devotion and welcome\nOverview of the Project\n\n\nReview of the new Guide to Worship and Guide to Devotions documents\n\nMorning tea  \n\nWorkshopping of worship and devotional resources from schools/ECSs (various activities)\n\nLunch \n\nShaping the final product – exploring ways to share and publicise the outcomes of the project\, developing sharing communities.\n\nPreparation  \nBefore attending the workshop\, participants are asked to: \n\ncomplete the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Worship_and_Devotions_Project\n\n\ntalk with staff in your learning community about the focus questions for the project: what do you struggle with when organising worship and devotions? What resources would help you? (opportunity to share your school/ECS’s thoughts will be provided at the workshop)\nbring one worship resource and one devotional resource with you to share at the workshop (please bring your resources in both printed and digital form).
