LESNW Principals and Directors Retreat Term 3
Thank you to all who were able to attend the Principals and Directors Retreat to Murray Bridge. Our thoughts were also with those unable to attend, particularly those who needed to stay with their learning communities at the last minutes. Thank you for your dedication to your communities also!
We planned this year to enable spiritual time, as well as some professional learning and social time in our retreat. Rev Fin Klein led our first day in spiritual retreat and Madhavi Nawana Parker from Positive Minds Australia led our second day with a professional learning focus on wellbeing for leaders. An email has been sent to Principals and Directors with resource slides from Madhavi’s presentation. If you did not receive this, please contact Larissa Paynter or me to send these through to you.
Thank you to Concordia Kindergarten and Unity College for their hospitality. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend time in your learning communities connecting with other staff, children and with our purpose as leaders in educational settings.
A particular thank you to Stuart Traeger who worked tirelessly in the background with all logistics for the retreat, from accommodation and meals to buses and timelines.
