DESCRIPTION:Location: Online (Microsoft Teams) \nTime Zones\nWA (AWST): 5.00pm – 7.00pm\nSA & NT  (ACST): 6.30pm – 8.30pm\nVIC\, NSW & TAS (AEST): 7.00pm – 9.00pm \nFor those who: \n\nare new to a LESNW or LEVNT board\nare not new to a board\, but are seeking a ‘governance refresher’\nattend board meetings in an ex-officio capacity\nwould like to meet and engage with others who serve on LESNW and LEVNT boards\nare curious\n\nThe session will cover: \n\nwhat governance is and what it isn’t\ngovernance standards\, principles\, mindsets and behaviours\nwhat makes an effective board member\ncommon boardroom mistakes\nthe importance of local context and knowledge\nthe structural relationship between learning communities and other Lutheran entities\navenues for future self-guided learning\n\nThis 2-hour session is available on three occasions. Participants need register for one date only. A Teams link will be provided upon registration.\nRegistrations for this event have now closed.
