SUMMARY:Leadership Lab 1.0 - Day 3
DESCRIPTION:Lab 1.0: Building awareness of Compassionate Systems tools and practices connecting to the leadership capabilities in Growing deep. Compassionate Systems draws on practices that are effective in building individual insight and well-being and extends them to include the strengthening of interpersonal relationships while deepening the understanding of how the whole system contributes to outcomes. \nParticipants will: \n\nDevelop personal mastery\, team learning and systems awareness to support innovation and improvement.\nBuild leadership capabilities and practices grounded in Growing deep using Compassionate Systems tools and practices.\nDevelop a community of practice and trust.\n\nThis professional learning will be facilitated by Stephen Jude (Principal Navigator College ELC-Year 12). Steve has been working with Compassionate Systems and what this means for personal\, staff\, student and wider systems growth and development for the past 6 years. \nThis lab is relevant to principals\, directors\, heads of school\, middle/senior leaders and anyone in a leadership role. Teams up of up to 4 are welcome to register. DESCRIPTION:Pre-requisite for this professional learning: participation in Lab 1.0\, Lab 1.5\, whole school engagement over a year or equivalent. DESCRIPTION:Click here to see the flyer for this event. \nSharing stories is such a powerful way of engagement\, which touches not just our mind\, but also our heart and can provide a provocation for curiosity and action.   \nYou are invited to listen to the stories of leaders who have been participating in the ‘Compassionate Systems: Deepening Practice” workshops\, each of them leading ‘a way of being’ for themselves and their learning communities which reflects elements of Growing deep.   \nIt is by no means a ‘finished’ story but more about exploring and nurturing the conditions which will enable their vision and values\, within a ‘living’ system (their school/college) which is also part of a larger system (LESNW).
